Latest News and Western Vascular Symposium

I recently visited the Western Vascular Symposium in Galway Ireland. This was a high quality scientific vascular meeting over 3 days. The meeting was well attended predominantly by Irish and US vascular surgeons. There were some interesting presentations on EVAR, TEVAR, robotic assisted intervention and closure devices amongst others. Its good to see that the vascular surgeons are also now moving to a percutaneous approach and closure devices, rather than cut-down for EVAR!
